Within the department Service Delivery Telindus is offering advanced Voice Services for enterprise in the Belgian market. In order to get these high-level voice-platforms, we are looking for a motivated Engineer.
The Nortel Voice engineer visits several customers a day/week to implement Nortel IPTel infrastructures and plays a very important trusted advisor role to the customer. As a high performer, he/she can generate a lot of bottom-up sales. He/she will develop in-depth technical knowledge.
He/she needs to develop detailed technical knowledge of our strategic supplier Nortel and has to collect as much experience as possible in other additional IPTel products.
Profile
Education :
- min level A1 or same level achieved by experience.
Experience :
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in VoIP projects with at least 5 years total experience in the IT world.
- Product knowledge Nortel CS1000, Nortel MCS5100, Nortel MG1000 (Nortel VoIP enterprise portfolio)
- Certificates are a plus
- NNCDS: Nortel Networks Design Specialist CS1000 and/or MCS5100
- NNCSS: Nortel Networks Support Specialist CS1000 and/Or MCS5100
- An Applications & Systems background is a plus (Management platform, Voice Mail, etc.)
- A good WAN-LAN knowledge is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of VoIP protocols such as SIP, MGCP/NCS and H.323 is required.
Languages :
- written and oral knowledge of English, Dutch and French
