The major responsibilities of the senior security consultant are
- to translate the defined IT security strategy to a high-level action plan for all cross-domain security topics (network related as well as systems & applications security related): conceptual design, architecture, strategy, investment analysis, etc.
- to facilitate and control interactive sessions with senior customer management
- to deliver a clear specification of the different existing options and their impact on the current situation in the security domain.
Jobcontent
- Faciliate and control interactive sessions with customer management to assess the culture, processes and organisational issues which are related to the project. Present a clear statement of the customer's requirements in the form of a plan (analysis, impact, implementation strategy)
- Deliver the service as described and as discussed with the customer according to the agreed upon plan
- Take technical ownership of complex multi-technology and cross-domain projects by managing a project team of consultants and engineers
- Guide customers to security solutions that fit their time frame and organisational needs in each respective phase.
- Technology watch for new technologies / opportunities
Profile
- Ability to conceptualize a solution of significant scope for different audiences
- Strong ability to understand, articulate and address business issues, business drivers and needs. These needs will need to be understood in order to be able to deliver the service taking customer needs into consideration.
- Superior ability to understand, articulate and address issues during the project. Ability to conceptualize a solution of significant scope.
Education :
- Higher education
- CISSP certification is an asset
Experience:
- Experience in people management
- Good understanding of security technology
- 5-10 years experience in the security field
- Experience in project management
Language Skills
- English
- French or Dutch
- 3rd European language is an advantage
