The department Business Innovation Systems & Applications is offering advanced solutions for enterprise organisations in the Belgian market. In order to support the continuous growth in this area, we are looking for motivated Technical Consultants Secured & Well-managed Infrastructure.
A Technical consultant Secured & Well-managed Infrastructure deals with the technical complexity of Storage and Server projects and the development of data management solutions. His/Her role consists in providing the customer with expert and reliable advice and assistance for designing, creating, implementing, auditing and operating his networked systems infrastructure in a way adapted to his business needs and constraints.
The Technical consultant Secured & Well-managed Infrastructure is specialised in standard, non-standard and complex Networked Systems analysis thanks to his/her advanced and up-to-date technical skills. The consultant will translate the functional requirements into a technical and services concept, and must be able to clarify that concept to the customer both written and orally. He/She will determine product-configurations and the applicable services per concept activity.
Profile
We are currently looking for Technical Consultants (storage administrators, storage architects, UNIX administrator) who will deal with the daily operations (storage provisioning, backup configurations, UNIX (Solaris), systems tasks, etc.) of customer infrastructure. They will take care of the installation and configuration of additional equipment, and integration of other projects on the infrastructure. They will train the customer in order to enable him to take over tasks on the long-term.
Education :
- min level A1 or same level achieved by experience.
Experience :
- Min. 3 years experience with installation and maintenance of storage and server platforms.
- Good knowledge of EMC storage, Brocade SAN infrastructure and StorageTek equipment is required.
- Knowledge of Fujitsu-Siemens servers is a strong plus
Languages :
- Fluent Dutch / French / English (oral + written)
