The goal of the Technical Consultant Streaming is to understand the Streaming requirements of the customer and to translate these into technical specifications. The Technical Consultant will also take the responsibility for the implementation/development and this with the help of our partners.
This position will be key in the further development of the Streaming business of Telindus. Due to the broad range of tasks and the diversity of systems and technologies involved, some of these tasks will have to be fulfilled by our partners, the Technical Consultant will act as the interface to control the deliverables of these partners.

Profile
The Technical Consultant/Senior Technical Consultant Streaming disposes of the following essential skills and requirements:
- You have at least 5-years experience in the world of Streaming.
- Perfect written and oral knowledge of English, Dutch and French
Knowledge
- High level knowledge of Microsoft.NET 2003 - 2005 especially on c# (Framework 1.1 & 2.0)
- Very good knowledge of Windows Mediaserver SDK
- Designing & architectural project based work experience
- Development of Windows Services & Application experience
- XML & XSLT knowledge with XML query and creation background on .NET
- Serial; TCP/IP; socket communication in c# towards multiple hardware devices knowledge
- Preferably on SourceManagement environments some knowledge of SVN & Anh c# -plugins
- Thorough Mysql, SQL knowledge
- C++ programming knowledge
Plus
- Knowledge of C, Perl, ASP(x), etc.
- Knowledgeable in Unix environments
- Knowledge on Audio/Video hardware Encoder/Decoders
- Knowledgeable on Audio/Video formats and standards
- Good writing and presentation skills
