The Systems team is a part of the Corporate BIS department and herein we provide IT services for the Telindus international community.
The goal is to support the business processes. This In order to maximise the efficiency and availability of these processes.
The system engineer will assure the infrastructure management of the Unix servers, optimise the network performances and manage the virtualisation on this hardware. He will assure the 3rd level support and the contacts with the users. The System Engineer is also responsible for the validation and the implementation of all new hardwares and softwares necessary for the business.
Profile
Education
- IT degree, Industrial Engineer or equivalent experience
Experience/Skills
- 2 to 5 years experience in a similar function.
- Experience with Oracle, HP Unix, HP storage
- benificial: knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP
Personality/Attitude
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Eager to learn
- Ability to travel when necessary
Language Skills
- English: very good written and spoken
- Dutch: very good spoken
- French: good understanding and good spoken
