Improve the quality of financial and business control over the Belgian divisions (Networking, MCO, GSM, ISC, MVG, Astrid, TAP) and assist with the measurement, reporting and achievement of Flagship objectives in order to enhance profitable growth, reduce operational inefficiencies, turn-around loss-making activities and pro-actively manage business and financial risks.
Job Content
Control & analysis of the monthly financial reports (Advisor P&L, MFR2006, Form1, Cash FC.);
- Issue a monthly note highlighting business evolution (OIT, TO and margin trend, OPEX evolution.)
- Follow-up and report on working capital management
- Analyse the financial and operational performance of activities in R&D, presales, sales and services, in both development phase and fulfilment; including solution business plans and project budgets and actual P&L.
- Push the utilization of Project ID and underlying conditions including time registration and monitoring billability ratios
- Anticipate and report on risks, trends and variances that may impact the budget achievement and propose improvement plans.
- Review the budgets
- Review cost optimisation measures and CAPEX plans
- Participate in initiatives for changes in (finance) processes including SAP
- Monitor compliance with corporate authorisation policy and schedule for approving sales proposals, purchase orders, investments, non-budgeted expenses etc
Profile
Education level & general experience
- University / Higher Education degree in Economics or similar
- At least 5 years experience in a finance, controlling or audit environment
- Experience with / insight in operational aspects of the business
