• Perform a technical analysis and design to implement new functionality within or to update existing modules of the ISC Software platform
• Develop and configure the requested functionality according to the agreed designs and planning using the development tools and languages used within the ISC platform.
• Deliver the necessary support and documentation to the NOC infrastructure team in order to install the new components in production.  Provide support to ensure operational status of the ISC Software platform.
• Technical interaction with product vendors
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• The SW Development Engineers need to sharpen their technical skills to continuously improve the components of the ISC software platform. They assist the architects in evaluating and selection of new products.

• Engineering degree preferably in Computer Science or equivalent

• The candidate has a minimum of 3 years experience in development within a managed networking / security services environment.

• Required
• Good knowledge of networking and network management components in specific
• In depth knowledge of network security and security analysis in general
• In depth knowledge of Security Infrastructure (Firewalling & IDS)
• Managed Security Services in general and Network/Security Management Tools specific to this domain.
• Experience with software development under Unix (Sun Solaris)
• Scripting languages (shell, PERL, .) to develop automation
• Recommended
• Experience with Arcsight
• Experience with other security log analysis software packages (e.g. Netsecure)
• Knowledge of Oracle 9 (performing queries using SQL and PL/SQL)
