The 'Buyer' manages the process in which goods and services are available by negotiating optimal purchase conditions (costs, quality, delivery time,...) in order to fulfill the needs of external and internal customers.
Job content
- Is responsible for the process of purchase from offer untill delivery
- Purchases complex items from which detailed specifications are available.
- Is responsible for the administrative follow-up and execution of orders
- Choses the best supplier in cooperation with the direct manager
- Evaluates suppliers on yearly basis
- Executes market research studies
- Assessment on suppliers, quality, products and delivery information
- Escalates delivery problems coming from local buyers to the suppliers
- Manages problems with suppliers
- Executes tasks/procedures as described (ISO 9001) in order to finalise purchase and delivery correctly according the 'back-to-back' principle.
Profile
Education :
- Graduat degree within administration or equal by experience.
Experience
- 2 years experience in a similar position.
Technical Skills :
- Knowledge (basic) of telecom, technology
- PC: MS office

- English , Dutch and French
