The Corporate Lead Buyer implements the procurement strategy on an international level in order to build a competitive advantage in the supply chain.
  • Implement the building blocks of the Procurement Strategy in order to increase the value on the supply chain.
  • Analyse, evaluate and identify procurement opportunities in the strategy phase together with a cross-functional team composed by product managers, solution managers or business innovation managers in order to make a shortlist of suppliers
  • Negotiation
  • Improve the supply conditions during the bid phase including price and optimal delivery process (Just In Time delivery) for the most important projects in order to assist the local teams in closing the deal.
  • Supplier evaluation
  • Procurement ambassador
Profile
 
Education level & general experience
  • University degree or similar by experience in a technical or commercial/distribution orientation.
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar position (preferably in network integration).
Languages
  • Dutch
  • French
  • English
Technical knowledge
  • Knowledge (basic) of telecom, technology
  • PC: MS office, Access, PowerPoint
  • In depth Market knowledge (ICT, products, suppliers)
